Ok, so I realize I dont put much effort into how I dress, out of work clothes I usually just wear jeans, tshirts/golf shirts, and running shoes, eek. I need some advice, or websites that give fashion tips while not forcing me to put too much effort in
Men%26#039;s fashion?
I highly recommend that you don%26#039;t put too much effort in. It just backfires and looks too metrosexual high maintenance man. Not cool. Stick with clothes from J Crew, Banana Republic, Kenneth Cole and Gap. Then the occasion funky item from Diesel. Check out websites below for men%26#039;s fashion tips.
Reply:Alrite to start a new wardrobe you need some staples. For men, I would advise you to get:
Bottom:
Black pants that perfectly FIT (i know, it sounds really simple, but so many men have some weird clothes hanging on their body), and some khaki pants. Also get some shorts, same colors (they are neutrals, so they go with everything).
Top:
Definitely stick to polos, they are great for men. However, you can wear a tee shirt of a different color underneath it (but it HAS to be a good combination, or you will look like an alien).
I think men should also wear shirts out of work... I%26#039;d advise them to do the same thing as the polos, however, you can go for prints... for instance: if you have a bright multicolored striped shirt, pair it with with a colored tee shirt underneath it (choose a tee which color is in the stripes). I know it might sound %26quot;gay%26quot; for some men. But you%26#039;ll look amazing in it, but this style is hard to get right sometimes...
What you can also do with a shirt, is to wear it under a sleeveless sweater. Matching color of course.
And for the shoes... I hate running shoes. I know that they are comfortable, but you should only wear them if you are running. So wear black, or brown shoes.
Alright, these should be the staples of you wardrobe.. I hope it isn%26#039;t too complicated, i just gave you some ideas
Reply:try wear surf shorts with sandles NO SOCKS and a tshirt little change yet completly different look no effort unless you need a pedi then you do need to go get one before wearing sandles lets not try and scare everyone with creepy feet lol
Reply:Just wear jeans and polos. or u can also wear cargo pants and polos.
Reply:seems like u like more preppy things...get a few pairs of dockers in tan and navy. they go with alot..loafers or topsiders are great and comfy too. try a pair of crocs shoes as well. i know they arent so hot to look at but i have 4 pair and they are the most comfy shoes ive ever worn..crocs.com..and other stores. they are in style all over. you dont say where ur from..climate would help. watch queer eye for the straight guy. they have great fashion tips on there as well. its on bravo..i hope these work for u. if ud like to give more detail i can help u further..have fun shopping
Reply:listen this is is advivce from a very fashoinable man. recenly they dicontinued a fashon mag that was for the eveyday man it was called cargo. you could google the name and see if you can get some of the back issuses, they had everything fashion, colonge, furniture, drink preperation, gadgets i mean everything . if you find any of the issues ,they discontinued it 2 months ago i bet you vote me best answer. good luck
Reply:Well what is important is what suits you. What you are comfortable in and you can carry off. Instead of trying to follow the fashion trend, decide for yourself what suits you and makes you comfortable in wearing and above what you like is important.
P.S. It would be incorrect to suggest anything since, all depends upon a person%26#039;s physique, personality and the place as well as occasion on when or why what one is wearing.
Reply:i think that wearing jeans and tshirts/golf shirts is fine.
I think maybe though you should get some shoes other then running to wear. They dont really go with much, well nothing besides running clothes.
get some good tennishoes and/or flip flops.
oh and if you buy a ton of tshirts/golf shirts and a few pairs of jeans you will be set.
you can also buy kaki shorts and button ups...that style works too.
good luck!!!

When it comes to beauty and style on the opposite sex....?
Are you picky about:
1) How physically attractive he/she is?
2) How well he/she is dressed?
Also, it is true that women notice men%26#039;s shoes? If so, why? Be honest.
When it comes to beauty and style on the opposite sex....?
Yep, I%26#039;m pretty picky about both. While they don%26#039;t have to be the best looking guy on the planet, I do want him to at least be attractive. And also they have to be stylish and dress well. I do, so I think they should be too. I especially have a thing for guys that wear skinny legs :D
I notice everyone%26#039;s shoes, dunno why, I just always seem to find myself checking out people%26#039;s shoes haha. But I think shoes tell a lot about the person. They can tell what they are into, like sports, fashion etc and are usually a good indication of their social status. I hate sneakers and I just could not date a guy who wore gooby sneakers.
Reply:1. i like my boys to be handsome, they`ll catch my attention. personality seals the deal.
2. i don`t really care that much how they are dressed; but if they can dress well that`s a bonus.
i do notice men`s shoes. i notice because i am a sneakerhead and have wayyy too many shoes and am slightly obsessed. lol. i can almost guarantee that`s not why other women do it though. i`m really not sure why they do.
Reply:I%26#039;m kinda picky on both, I like guys that look cute, but they have to have a great personalty. I like one kind of style, but it doesn%26#039;t mean I will just go out with people who have that style. I will look at there shoes but after I notice there face and how they present them self. This one guy I like used to wear grandpa shoes, but I still liked him, can%26#039;t judge on there shoes, lol.
Reply:i dont really mind how physically attractive they are but not like really really ugly.
and i do sort of mind how they are dressed but not much.
and wemen notise mens shoes because we (females) are very good at notising little things like that.
2)Yes.
and, yeah but i only notice them if they%26#039;re ugly otherwise i overlook them.
Reply:No i%26#039;m not picky about how physically attractive he is, There has to be atleast somewhat of good looks slightly but other then that I dont care what he looks like just fit. I do care about clothing, i HATE guys in baggy pants and huge tshirts and chains, total turn off. I like guys in jeans with a sports tee shirt... perfectly fine with me.. Yes I do notice a guys shoes I hate if there feminine I like the nike shoes on a guy
